How many people can you henna per hour?
With a steady line, one artist can henna about 20 people per hour. Need to cover more guests? No problem, we can bring multiple artists. If your event is more relaxed, we shift to bigger, more detailed designs. We always read the room and adjust so everyone gets a great experience.
Is your henna safe?
100%! We use only natural, body-safe henna made with essential oils. No harmful chemicals or PPD. Henna is personally mixed by me with ingredients displayed for every student. We also talk about how to recognize safe henna so students can protect themselves in the future.
Does henna show up on dark skin?
YES! Henna is used traditionally in cultures that often have dark skin (Indian, Sudan, etc…). Henna shows up on every skin tone! Henna is a transparent stain, using your skin tone as it’s base. The browner the skin, the redder the stain, the pinker the skin, the browner the stain. Dark skin tends to stain more burgundy than red-brown of lighter skin.
What kinds of designs do you offer?
Everything from traditional to trendy cultural styles (including Indian, Moroccan, and Persian), florals, symbolic henna, and more!
Can guests request their own designs?
Of course! Our sample designs are just a jumping-off point. We customize every piece so each guest gets something that feels uniquely theirs.
Do guests learn about henna?
Yes! Along with stunning designs, guests learn about the safety, history, and cultural significance of henna. We even include meaningful, empowering symbols in our work.
Do you do cultural or themed events?
Absolutely! We love customizing designs to fit your event! Diwali, International Fairs, Halloween, Fall Festivals, Spring Fling, Tropical Paradise; you name it, we’re on it!
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner, the better, especially during busy seasons (August, October, November, March, and April). Don’t worry, our team is often available for last minute events too!
How much space do you need?
We only need a table and two chairs. We bring the rest!
Can you provide a COI?
Of course! We can also add you and your event as an additional insureds.
